October 31 – University Police received a call for a person who fell in Suite D. Officer entered the room and assisted the person back on the bed. Person did not want to be checked by EMS.

October 31 – University Police responded to a call about damage to a vehicle at the McKay Commuter Parking lot. After investigation it was determined the damage did not occur on campus.

October 31 – The Health Center requested an ambulance for a person who was feeling dizzy. EMS was called and responded.

October 31 – University Police took a report of theft at Suite D. The case is currently under investigation.

November 1 – University Police received a call and responded to unknown person(s) screaming in the Dinger building causing a disturbance. Person(s) were located and were advised to be respective because of classes going on.

November 2 – University Police received a call for a person trying to get into a locked building on Service Drive. Person was located, ID’d, and cited.

November 2 – University Police are investigating property damage in the Lower Stadium C Lot, report was taken by the responding officer.

November 2 – University Police responded to a traffic accident on Harmony Road. Vehicle was towed and there was property damage to the area. Reportable accident report will be filed and sent to PennDOT.

November 2 – University Police received a call for a person who fell at the Smith Student Center. The officer assisted the person back up and stated they were fine.

November 3 – University Police were called about finding a place for a person to stay at. The caller felt unsafe. Person was able to find another room to stay.

November 4 – University Police responded to a bat in the west side elevator in Suite D. The responding officer was able to catch the bat and remove it from the building.

November 4 – University Police received a call from a staff member reporting that something had been entering the quail cage in the Harmony House. The investigating officer determined that two cats may have gotten inside the cage.

November 4 – University Police responded to a traffic accident with no injuries reported in the Harrisville Open Parking Lot. Both vehicles were drivable. The responding officer arrived, and all necessary information was exchanged.

November 4 – University Police were called to report a theft of a cell phone at Suite F. Upon their arrival, the victim explained that their friend played a prank on them, and the cell phone was returned. No further action was taken.

November 5 – University Police received a call from someone who reported witnessing a vehicle backing into another car without leaving any contact information at West lake Commuter Lot. The investigation officer was able to identify the driver, who then came to the police station to speak with the officer. The case is currently under investigation.

November 5 – University Police received a call from the Counseling Center requesting an ambulance be dispatched for an individual needing medical treatment. EMS was dispatched, arrived on scene, and transported the individual to the hospital. Police response was not requested.

November 6 – A person reported to the police station that he was struck by a vehicle while walking in the Lower Stadium B Parking Lot. He claimed that although the driver slowed down, the vehicle left the area afterward. However, the investigating officer concluded that the individual had fabricated the incident and was not actually hit by a vehicle. The case is currently under investigation, and charges are pending.

November 6 – University Police were dispatched to respond to a vehicle accident on Kiester Road. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the driver, who explained that while attempting to make a turn, the vehicle slid on the wet pavement and the leaves on the road. The driver replaced the damaged tire and was able to drive the vehicle away from the scene. No further police action was necessary.

November 6 – University Police received a complaint about a stolen dorm room key at Watson Hall. The complaint suspects their roommate may be responsible. The case is currently under investigation.

November 6 – University Police responded to a vehicle accident on Kiester Road with no reported injuries. The officer arrived on scene and determined that the vehicle could not be driven. Pry’s Towing was dispatched to tow the vehicle to the maintenance carpool.
