September 9 – An individual came into the station to file a report on someone taking photos of them while they were inside Bailey Library.

September 9 – Police received a call that an individual passed out during class in Vincent Science Center. An officer showed up on the scene and escorted that person to the Student Health Center.

September 9 – Police responded to a call from the CA of Building E to report an odor of marijuana coming from a dorm room. Officers arrived and contacted the person, no odor was present and no marijuana was found.

September 9 – An individual from Pine Glenn called the police stating their friend was very sick and believed they might have alcohol poisoning. The caller was immediately transferred to Butler 911.

September 10 – While on patrol, an officer found an individual passed out on the hillside of the stadium. The individual was highly intoxicated and EMS was dispatched. EMS arrived and the individual refused medical treatment. The police transported the person to the police station. The individual’s grandparents were called. Brandon Tepper was cited for an alcohol violation.

September 10 – Police reported they backed into a car. The owners were notified and a report was taken.

September 10 – Borough police requested assistance for a male and female fighting on Center street. After investigation, both parties were being loud, they weren’t fighting.

September 10 – Police noticed a person urinating in plain view by the ROCK apartments. When the individual saw the police, the person ran off. The individual was caught and both were cited for underage drinking and possession of alcoholic beverages.

September 11 – Police received a smoke detector activation near the Alumni Pavilion parking lot. They checked the room and the cause was burnt food. The alarm was reset.

September 11 – 911 dispatched SRUPD for an injury on Zimmerman Field. Police and EMS arrived and the individual refused medical treatment.

September 11 – Police were called for a welfare check at Watson Hall to check on a person no one heard from. Police located the person off campus and they were fine.

September 11 – Police were called for a person having a seizure in SSC. Police asked the person if they wanted to be checked out by EMS and the person refused treatment.

September 11 – Police were called by a CA in Rhodes Hall for a possible alcohol violation. The police knocked on the door and no one answered.

September 11 – Police were called by resident life in Building A to perform a welfare check on an individual. Police spoke with the person and they seemed fine and had no other issues. The person was offered all resources available to them if they wanted to speak to someone else.

September 12 – Police received a call for a person fainting in the SSC. Police responded to evaluate the patient. The individual refused to be seen by EMS. The individual was advised to be seen by the Student Health Center.

September 12 – An individual reported criminal mischief to their vehicle in the Rock Hall Resident Lot. They just wanted the police to be aware and didn’t want anything to be done.

September 12 – Police are investigating an extortion case that was reported in North Hall. This case is still under investigation.

September 13 – Police received a fire alarm activation in the ROCK apartments. The alarm was set off by burnt bacon. The alarm was reset.

September 13 – University police are investigating a traffic accident between a university-owned vehicle and a school bus owned by Student Transportation of America on Kiester road.

September 13 – Police are investigating a report of harassment of a person in Building A sending text messages to a compliant.

September 13 – Police responded to a fire alarm activation that was set off by steam from a person taking a shower in Building E. The alarm system was reset.

September 14 – Police responded to a fire alarm activation in Building E. The officer came and there was an unknown reason for activation. The alarm was reset and a message was left with Safety.

September 14 – Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the West Lake Commuter lot. both vehicles were drivable and no injuries were reported. The individuals exchanged the required information.

September 14 – Police responded to a fire alarm activation. The alarm was set off by burnt food. The alarm was reset.

September 14 – Police received a call from a CA in Watson Hall about an alcohol violation. No alcohol was found at the location. The case is unfounded.
