March 7- University Police are following up on a case involving an individual exposing themselves in Building F. The case is under investigation.
March 11- University Police received a call from an individual parked in the Founders Lower Commuter Lot. The caller stated that their car had been tampered with, however, everything appeared fine. They wanted University Police to be aware. An incident report was taken and is under investigation.
March 16- Police responded to a medical emergency at the Morrow Field House involving an individual who had fallen and sustained injuries. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were dispatched and transported the individual to the hospital.
March 16- University Police were requested by the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) to assist with a burglary in progress. A check determined that the suspect was gone upon the officer’s arrival. PSP is handling further investigation.
March 19- While on patrol, University Police noticed horses outside the fence at the Equestrian Center. Officers were able to return the horses to their designated area.
March 22– University Police were stopped by two juveniles near the Central Loop regarding an incident at an event. It was determined the juveniles were upset because they were not allowed into the event due to a previous incident.
March 23– University Police received a call from a faculty member in Watson Hall stating that, while a repair technician was servicing a washing machine, a small baggie was found that may have contained drugs. The investigating officer tested the substance and received a negative result for illicit substances.
March 23– University Police and EMS responded to a report in Building F of an individual who was catatonic and unresponsive. Upon arrival, the individual was unable to communicate with EMS personnel. After some time, the individual began speaking with EMS and Crisis Staff, and ultimately refused transport to the hospital.
March 24– University Police received a call from an individual in the Smith Student Center reporting dizziness, nausea, chest pain and shortness of breath; they were requesting an ambulance. Police and EMS responded, evaluated the individual and transported them to Grove City Medical Center for further treatment.
March 24– University Police are investigating a report of suspicious activity involving a Walmart delivery individual who allegedly followed the recipient inside North Traditional Hall and appeared to take a photograph of them.
March 25– University Police are investigating a report of a wallet stolen from a vehicle parked in the Morrow Field House staff lot.
March 25– University Police are investigating an extortion complaint that occurred while an individual was using social media in Building F. The individual reported sending nude photographs and videos of themselves to an unknown person, who then threatened to distribute the material, including sending it to the head of the Education Department, unless certain demands were met.
March 25– University Police received an elevator emergency phone activation reporting that the elevator in Spotts World Culture Building was stuck between the first and second floors with individuals inside. Maintenance personnel responded and were able to safely lower the elevator to the ground level and assist the individuals out.
March 26– University Police received another elevator emergency phone activation from an individual stuck in the elevator at Spotts World Culture Building. Officers and maintenance personnel responded, who were able to access the elevator and free the individual without incident.
