September 25th- University Police respond to a traffic accident in the Macoskey Parking Lot involving two vehicles. Upon officer’s arrival, no injuries were reported  and both vehicles required towing. Pry’s Towing was on the scene and towed both vehicles. The incident is currently under investigation. 

September 25th- University Police received a call about an individual having a seizure in Rhodes Hall. Police and EMS arrived on the scene but the individual refused any further medical treatment. 

September 26th- University Police received a call from a concerned guardian who reported that they had received an alarm indicating their child’s blood sugar was low and that they were unable to reach their son. When officers arrived at the Rock Apartments, they found the individual sleeping. After checking his blood sugar, they confirmed it was normal. University Police advised the individual to reach out to their guardian and confirm their wellbeing.

September 27th- Slippery Rock Police requested backup from University Police for a possible assault at Ginger Hill. University Police arrived on the scene and spoke with the alleged suspect. The incident is under investigation by the Slippery Rock Police. No further action was taken by the University Police. 

September 28th- University Police assisted Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) in handling a fight that broke out at the University Village. PSP is currently handling further investigation. 

September 28th- Borough Police contact University Police to assist them in handling a fight at Sheetz. The individual and victim were both located. The victim was checked by EMS and refused transport. 

September 28th- University Police responded to a two-car accident on Keister Road. One individual was life-flighted from the area due to their injuries, while the remaining two individuals were transported by EMS to Grove City Medical Center. A Traffic Accident Report was taken by the attending officer. 

September 29th- University Police responded to a report of an individual who had gotten his left pinkie finger stuck in a hole in a metal bed frame while in his dorm in Building D. University Police were unable to free the individual’s finger from the bed frame so the Slippery Rock Fire department was dispatched to the scene. They arrived and cut part of the bed frame to help remove the finger. The individual’s friend then drove him to Grove City Medical Center to have the remaining piece of the bed frame removed from his finger. 

September 29th- University Police received a call to dispatch an ambulance for an individual experiencing illness, coughing and an inability to speak in Building F. EMS and Police arrived on the scene and the individual was transported to Grove City Medical Center. 

September 29th- University Police responded to a car accident in the West Lake Commuter Parking Lot involving two vehicles that were both backing out of parking spaces and had come in contact with one another. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were drivable. All required information was exchanged. 

September 30th- University Police received a call from an individual who was trapped in the elevator at Weisenfluh Dining Hall. Maintenance promptly responded and assisted the individual in getting out of the elevator. 

September 30th- University Police responded to a fire alarm activation in Watson Hall. Upon the officer’s arrival, it was determined that a water line had erupted which was causing water to leak into the rooms below. Housing and Maintenance were notified. Maintenance shut off the water valve while Housing assisted residents in cleaning water from the affected dorm rooms. 

September 30th- University Police responded to a report of theft regarding items that were taken from a locker in the Aebersold Recreation Center. During the investigation, the caller realized that they had actually placed their belongings in a different locker. The items were subsequently located, and no further action was taken.

October 1st- University Police received a call about a group of individuals fighting outside of a Residence Hall on Rock Pride drive. When Police arrived, they determined that the group was mimicking wrestling moves from a WWE TV show. No further action was taken.
