March 6- Slippery Rock Borough Police requested assistance from University Police regarding an ongoing altercation at Ginger Hill. University Police arrived on the scene and helped gather the individuals’ names. Borough Police subsequently took one individual into custody.
March 6- University Police received a call from staff personnel advising dispatch that an individual had injured their ankle at the Aebersold Recreation Center and requested an ambulance to be dispatched. Upon the officer’s arrival, the injured individual was being transported by a personal vehicle.
March 7- University Police were called by a CA at Building F for an alcohol violation. The report was referred to Student Conduct A.
March 17- University Police filed a theft report regarding missing items from a locker in North Hall on March 7. The incident is currently under investigation.
March 17- University Police received a call from a CA at Building E regarding possible drug paraphernalia found between a window and a screen. The officers spoke to the residents, and the incident was referred to Student Conduct.
March 18- University Police received a call from a professor at Spotts World Culture Building requesting a welfare check on an individual who might harm themselves. Since the individual was not on campus, the officer contacted the police agency in the area where the individual resides. The agency made contact with the individual, who reported to be okay at that time.
March 18- University Police received a call from an individual who was unable to remove a ring from their finger at Building D. When officers arrived, they observed that the individual’s finger was swollen, making it impossible to take off the ring. The individual drove themselves to Grove City Hospital for assistance.
March 18- University Police are investigating a report of theft that may have occurred over spring break in Caruth Rizza Hall.
March 18- University Police responded to a vehicle accident involving two cars at Stadium Drive. Upon the officers’ arrival, both drivers stated they did not need medical treatment. One vehicle needed to be towed, and the case is currently under investigation.
March 19- University Police received a complaint from an individual in Building E stating that their roommate made threatening comments on their iPad. The officers spoke to all parties involved, and the incident was referred to Student Standards.
