Rooster’s Coffee Bar, located on Main St. in town, released their brand-new fall menu on Tuesday.
Their menu features an all-new flavor selection to welcome in the fall season, with drinks
like their Apple Butter Chai, Banana Bread Cookie Latte, Pumpkin Roll Cold Brew and
more.
Each drink was curated by their front-end manager, Maddie, who created the recipes and
put the menu together.
According to one of their baristas, Brayah, the Pumpkin Roll Cold Brew features a
“cheesecake cold foam” that is made with cream cheese to be thicker than a traditional
cold foam.
“If you’ve ever had a pumpkin roll, there’s the cream cheese frosting, so we tried to play
into that and it’s so good,” Brayah said.
Brayah said that the fall flavors are doing exceptionally well this year. In particular, the
Banana Bread Cookie Latte has been a popular order, and the Pumpkin Shaken Espresso
did particularly well during VillageFest.
Plenty of people in their cafe were already enjoying drinks from their fall menu. Tara, an
SRU student, treats Roosters as their study spot.
“It’s my first time coming in for the fall menu, but I think it is just a perfect accumulation of
all fall things. I really like the apple flavors they are doing,” said Tara, who was enjoying an
apple pie latte.
Another SRU student, Maya, revealed that she has already tasted Rooster’s entire fall
menu as a “Golden Rooster.”
“If you go to Rooster’s enough and earn enough points, you will eventually get Golden
Rooster status, which means you get invited to all the menu tasting events,” said Maya.
It seems like Rooster’s is back in session at SRU, and students are approaching the fall
season one drink at a time.
