February 27– University Police received a call about a suicidal individual in Watson Hall who had ingested pills. Police located the individual, and EMS transported them to the hospital.
March 1– University Police initiated a traffic stop with suspicion that the driver was operating a vehicle under the influence near the Central Loop. Charges are pending.
March 2– While on patrol, officers were flagged down by a residential assistant who reported that three or four individuals were on top of the water tower. Both University Police and Slippery Rock Police responded to the scene, climbed to the top of the water tower and located two individuals. Charges are pending.
March 3– University Police are investigating a report of property damage to a parked vehicle in the Founders Upper Resident Parking Lot involving a golf-ball-sized impact with spiderweb cracking to the windshield.
March 3– University Police are currently investigating a report of terroristic threats made through Instagram.
March 3– University Police received a report of harassment involving an active no-contact order in Building E. The incident was referred to Student Standards.
March 4– University Police received a call reporting a suspicious individual who appeared confused. The caller believed the individual was following them while walking near the Central Loop. Upon investigation, the officer identified the individual as a staff employee who was experiencing a medical event.
March 4– University Police responded to a fire alarm activation in Building E. The resident stated that they had forgotten to add water to their mac and cheese. The alarm panel was reset, and no further action was taken.
