March 20 – PSP called dispatch to request assistance from University Police regarding a possible individual who was attempting to harm themselves. When officers arrived and entered the New Castle Street apartment, they found no one present. No further action was taken by University Police.

March 20 – University Police received a call from a concerned parent requesting a welfare check on their child as they were unable to make contact. Officers arrived at Building B and spoke with the individual, who confirmed they were okay and then communicated with their parent. 

March 20 – University Police received a call from the Campus Success Center Health Center requesting an ambulance be dispatched. The dispatcher notified Butler Control. 

March 21 – University Police received a call from a professor requesting a welfare check on an individual who made comments about self-harm. Since the individual was not on campus, University Police contacted Lawrence County Crisis Response and requested that they check on the individual. 

March 22 – Slippery Rock Borough Police arrived at the station to use the Datamaster Intoxilyzer for a potential DUI motor vehicle operator.

March 22 – University Police were called about a theft at North Hall. The officer took a report and the case is under investigation. 

March 22 – PSP requested assistance for a domestic disturbance at the Slippery Rock Fire Department Parking Lot. It was discovered to be a verbal argument. 

March 22 – University Police were called for a traffic accident on Kiester Road. There were no injuries and cars were drivable. An incident report was submitted by the responding officer. 

March 22 – University Police were called to assist Slippery Rock Borough Police for a fight behind Giant Eagle. On arrival no one was fighting at the time. Borough Police are handling the call. 

March 23 – University Police were called for an indvidual having a seizure at the Morrow Field House. EMS responded and transported the individual to the hospital. 

March 24 – University Police received a call from an individual concerned about their sibling at Campus Side Apartments, who had not been in contact for a few days. The investigating officer reached out and confirmed that the sibling was okay and would call back.

March 24 – University Police received a call from an individual who reported that while attempting to exit a Smith Commuter Parking spot, they accidentally struck the vehicle next to them. An officer arrived at the scene and no injuries were reported. Both vehicles were still drivable and the drivers exchanged all necessary information. 

March 24 – An individual reported being involved in a minor vehicle accident in the Founders Lower Commuter Parking Lot. They stated that they were unable to contact the other individual involved and may have mistakenly written down their phone number. The investigating officer was able to identify the other party and successfully made contact with them. 

March 25 – An individual went to the police station to file a harassment report. The incident occurred within the Slippery Rock Borough limits and the individual was referred to the borough police department. 

March 26 – University Police received an active warrant from the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Department and requested police to attempt to serve it on an individual. Police made several attempts but were unable to locate the person.

March 26 – University Police were dispatched to respond to a report of a bicyclist who had been hit by a motor vehicle on the Central Loop. While en route, the officers noticed the bicyclist riding their bicycle near the police station and flagged them down. The officers spoke with the individual, who stated that they were unharmed. The incident is currently under investigation.

March 27 – An individual in Building B called dispatch requesting an ambulance due to severe abdominal pain. EMS and police arrived and the individual was transported to Grove City Hospital. 

March 27 – University Police responded to a report of an individual who had fallen and cut themselves which resulted in bleeding at Vincent Science Center. Upon arrival, the officer observed that the person’s lip was bleeding. The individual refused medical treatment, stating that they would drive themselves to the hospital if needed.
