Borough

Sept. 4 – Jeffery Hernandez was cited for carrying a false identification card after attempting to purchase liquor from the Wine and Spirits store.

Sept. 5  – Angelo Nola was cited for underage consumption after found walking along South Main Street with an alcoholic beverage.

Sept. 5 – Zachary Fisher was cited for an open container violation after being found walking along South Main Street with an open beer.

Sept. 5 – Eric Moscipan was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, open lewdness, and disorderly conduct after an officer found him in a running vehicle. His passenger, Jessica Smoker was also arrested for open lewdness, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct.

Sept. 6  – Brian Bylotus, Jared Espositi, Gavin Hetrick and a 17-year-old male were cited for underage consumption after being found walking along Normal Avenue with open cans of beer.

Sept. 7 – Officers were dispatched to a fight at a house on West Cooper Street behind the old Sheetz. Two people were struck in the head with beer bottles and required medical attention.

Sept. 7 – A resident of West Cooper Street reported that someone threw a rock through his bedroom window.

Sept. 9  – Officers were dispatched to Powell’s Auto along Franklin Street for two people fighting. Samantha Baker and Mark Bianco were cited for disorderly house.

Sept. 12 – A retail theft was reported at the Giant Eagle store, where a known individual was seen stealing firewood. The individual paid for six bundles and loaded 12 into a car. Charges are pending.

Sept. 12 – Tyler Malorni was cited for attempting to purchase liquor at the Wine and Spirits store with a fake I.D.

Campus

Sept. 12 – Shane Martin, 18, Cody McKay, 18, and Hunter Nagy, 18, were issued drug charges for a previous violation.

Sept. 12 – Police received a call for a student passed out at Vincent Science Hall. The student was transported to the Health Center to be checked out.

Sept. 12 – Police responded to a fire alarm set off by steam at Building A. The alarm was reset.

Sept. 13 – Police responded to a possible alcohol violation at Building B. The case is under investigation.

Sept. 14 – Pennsylvania State Police requested assistance for an individual that passed out off campus. The residence wants the individual removed from their property. The individual was transported to SRUPD for further processing.
