This Meograph highlights the timeline of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination, and the events that occurred in the days following the event, including assassin Lee Harvey Oswald’s death, and the president’s funeral.  November 22, 2013 commemorates the 50th anniversary of the tragedy, when some say, the nation lost it’s innocence.  Not only did a nation mourn him the day of his death, and the days afterwards, people the world over grieved along with American citizens.  The Zapruder Film captured the moment JFK was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository, and followed his motorcade as it sped out of view towards Parkland Memorial Hospital.  This moment drew Americans to their televisions for three days of continuous coverage of the event, and from that moment forward, people went to their TVs for news.
