Hayden Schultz

Hayden Schultz is a first semester senior from Zelienople, Pennsylvania. He started at The Rocket as a contributor in the fall of 2023. He will graduate in fall 2024 with a degree in strategic communication with a concentration in multimedia journalism, minoring in political science and American politics. Following contributions to The Rocket in fall of 2023, he took on the roles of Assistant News Editor and News Editor in 2024 before being voted Editor-in-Chief in spring 2025. Hayden’s work appeared in the Butler Eagle and the New Castle News, the latter of which he interned last summer. Hayden is passionate in a variety of activities: exploring the outdoors, athletics, video games, anthropology, cooking and literature. His favorite activity is hanging out with friends and family.
