Whether students choose to have their meal at Boozel, Weisenfluh, Rocky’s or Starbucks, individuals can find different types of sweet treats all throughout campus.

Throughout the day, between classes or after a meal, students may stop at these places to pick up their favorite treat.

From a cake-pop at Starbucks to a chocolate chip cookie at Boozel, SRU students have preferences on where they like to get treats.

In a recent survey conducted by The Rocket, students shared what their favorite place is to get a sweet treat on campus and what they enjoy having.

A common response was chocolate chip cookies from Boozel, ice cream and items from Starbucks.

Boozel Dining Hall offers a variety of different choices that change each night, from ice cream, brownies, cookies, cupcakes and much more. If a themed night occurs, there will most likely be a unique sweet treat for the events.

“I like to get a sweet treat at Boozel because there are so many different options,” one SRU student said.

The Rock Dining social media page shows students when special treats are offered at the dining hall and when they can get them.

Starbucks at Smith Student Center is also a common choice for students where they can get their favorite treats as well as seasonal options.

“I go to Starbucks and get the cake pops because when I’m having an off day or need something quick and sweet, I can always rely on Starbucks to get me what I need,” another student said.

Rocky’s offers a variety of candy and ice cream that students enjoy.

At Rocky’s and Weisenfluh students can now get a sweet treat with a few of the meal exchange options.

According to the survey, popular options at Weisenfluh are the milkshakes and smoothies.

Students were asked what types of treats they wish they could get on campus.

Some of the responses were options including pie, boba, churros and sundaes.

Students were also asked which treats they would recommend to others on campus:

“Try the brownies at Boozel. The ice cream too is very delicious,” an SRU student said.

“The ice cream at Rocky’s because it’s delicious,” another said.

“Make a waffle at Boozel and top it with ice cream and toppings,” one student said.
