The Rocket

Rebecca Marcucci
To say writing is a passion for me, that’s nothing new. Writing has always been a way of life for me, even if you’re including all the journals and diaries tucked away under my bed from eons ago it seems. I’m used to writing about my thoughts or feelings, it’s listening to others and sharing their stories that I really love and can easily do for the rest of my life. To me it’s more than just news or a headline, it’s all about how people are impacted by stories and how they shape all of our lives. While I consider myself a talkative individual, I like to be the quiet one for a while. I like to get a feel for the people I’m around, watch them interact and communicate. So being a professional creep isn’t a new concept for me. I find joy in every day. In my spare time, or really anytime, I love to sing and dance, mostly foolishly. I’m very self-motivating and I enjoy motivating others, I’d like to think I’m pretty good at that! I’m thankful for family and friends who have pushed me throughout my life and in my college career, they are a very large part of my life. Thanks for reading all the articles Mom! I am over-joyed and certainly excited to be working as the Campus Life editor and ecstatic to be part of the Rocket staff team. Here’s to a great year and hopefully great stories to come with Steph and the rest of the crew!
