October 10th– University Police received a call from a staff member in the Eisenberg Building regarding an individual who was feeling faint and clammy. Police and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived on scene, and the individual was transported to Grove City Medical Center.

October 12th– University Police are currently investigating a report of an individual who appeared to be urinating on the side of a building near the Central Loop.

October 12th– University Police were called to assist in dispersing a fight involving multiple individuals at Sheetz. Upon the arrival of University Police, one individual was found covered in blood. Slippery Rock Police are handling the investigation.

October 12th– University Police were contacted regarding an individual outside Bailey Library who was experiencing dizziness and nausea. EMS was dispatched, and the individual was transported to Grove City Medical Center.

October 12th– University Police received a call for a wellness check on an individual in Rhoads Hall. After speaking with police, the individual agreed to be taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

October 13th– Butler County 911 requested assistance from University Police to aid Slippery Rock Borough Police in responding to a report of an intoxicated male in possession of a shotgun in the basement of a local residence. The caller reported the individual was threatening to harm himself and the caller. Officers arrived on scene, entered the residence, and located the male asleep. No firearms were found. A crisis counselor was contacted and determined that the individual was stable.

October 14th– University Police responded to a vehicle that struck another while attempting to park in the Lower Stadium B parking lot. The officer arrived on scene; no injuries were reported, and both vehicles were drivable. The incident is currently under investigation.

October 14th– University Police responded to a call from Rhoads Hall regarding an individual experiencing seizures. Police and EMS arrived on scene and transported the individual to Grove City Medical Center.

October 14th– University Police received a report from an individual in Building A who stated they had received messages from an unknown number. The sender claimed to possess sexually explicit images of the individual from when they were a minor and threatened to distribute the images to the individual’s family and friends. The incident is currently under investigation.

October 14th– University Police received a call about a wheelchair-bound individual who was stuck on the second floor of Patterson Hall due to the building’s elevator not functioning. Maintenance was notified.

October 14th– University Police received a report of a vehicle in the East Lake Parking Lot that had backed into another vehicle. The responding officer found that one vehicle had coasted out of its parking spot and struck another vehicle. Both vehicle owners were contacted and arrived on scene. After checking their vehicles, no damage was reported.

October 15th– University Police received a call from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Beaver Barracks requesting assistance in locating a juvenile who had run away and was believed to be on campus. Officers checked Building D, but the juvenile was not found. University Police updated PSP, and no further action was taken.

October 15th– University Police received a report about an individual who had stolen a sign from an event in the Quad. The officer located the individual, and charges are pending.

October 15th– University Police responded to an individual who had dislocated their elbow during a game of tag in Morrow Field House. Police and EMS arrived on scene, and the individual was transported to Grove City Medical Center.

October 15th– University Police and EMS responded to an individual in Building F who was experiencing left knee pain. The individual stated they may have sustained the injury the previous day while playing flag football. EMS transported the individual to Grove City Medical Center.

October 16th– University Police responded to a call from an individual who reported hearing a loud scream lasting about 20 seconds, followed by yelling and banging noises, while walking from their car on Library Drive. Dispatch notified the Slippery Rock Police Department, which sent a Borough officer. Upon arrival, the officer located the individuals and determined they were a group of residents goofing off in their apartment. No further action was needed.

October 16th– University Police received a call from a resident in Rhoads Hall who stated their roommate was struggling with epilepsy symptoms. Police and EMS arrived on scene, but the individual refused further medical treatment.
