February 3 – University Police received a complaint from an individual about damage to their vehicle while parked in the Lower Stadium B Parking Lot. The incident is currently under investigation. 

February 4 – Slippery Rock Borough Police requested backup for an individual at North Hall with active warrants. Police located the person, who was taken into custody with the assistance of University Police. University Police helped transport the individual to the Butler County Jail. 

February 6 – Slippery Rock Borough Police requested assistance regarding multiple individuals causing a disturbance in the hallways on South Main Street. When police arrived on the scene, they checked the building and surrounding area, but the individuals had already left. 

February 6 – University Police received a call from a North Hall desk attendant who reported that they had fallen on the icy sidewalk after completing their shift. The individual stated that they were experiencing back pain and requested an escort to Suite A. They were transported to the suite but refused medical treatment. 

February 7 – University Police received a call from an individual who stated that a vehicle had backed into another vehicle in the Smith Commuter Parking Lot. The responding officer determined the vehicle operator, who returned and left a note with their information on the damaged vehicle. The incident is under investigation.

February 7 – University Police received a call from the CA of Suite E stating that while conducting a health and safety check, alcohol was observed in a dorm room. The officer arrived and the residents were not present. The incident was referred to Student Conduct. 

February 7 – University Police received a call from an individual at the Smith Student Center who stated that their friend was not feeling well and was dizzy and lightheaded. Police and EMS arrived, and the individual was transported to Grove City Medical Center. 

February 7 – University Police are investigating a possible theft of a wallet at Suite D that was to be taken to the desk attendant area. 

February 9 – While on patrol, University Police noticed a vehicle that struck a pole on Kiester Road. Vehicle airbags went off and no injuries were reported, but the vehicle was towed from the scene of the incident. A report was taken by the responding officer. 

February 9 – University Police were called for an accident where a driver slid and hit a stop sign on North Road. No injuries were reported and the car was drivable. An incident report was taken by the responding officer. 

February 9 – University Police were called for an alcohol violation at Suite D. The case is under investigation. 

February 10 – University Police received a call from the Counseling Center at the Campus Success Center requesting an ambulance for an individual needing medical treatment. EMS arrived and transported the person to the hospital. 

February 10 – University Police was dispatched to a minor vehicle accident on Rock Pride Drive in which the driver backed out of a parking space and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were drivable. Both operators exchanged the required information. 

February 11 – University Police received a call from a concerned individual regarding their boyfriend due to a worrying text message they had received. Upon arriving at North Hall, the police discovered that the boyfriend was not in his room. As they searched the campus and surrounding areas, officers eventually located him. After speaking with him, they confirmed that he was fine. 

February 11 – University Police were dispatched to assist an individual who had fallen and was vomiting at North Hall. Police and EMS arrived and the individual was transported to Grove City Hospital. 

February 12 – University Police were dispatched to Art Building 1 to assist an individual experiencing an anxiety attack. Upon arrival, the officers spoke with the individual as EMS arrived. The individual declined further medical treatment. Following the recommendations of the EMTs, the police transported the individual to Boozel Dining Hall so they could obtain something to eat. 

February 12 – University Police received a call from an individual at Water Tower Hill reporting an incident caused by icy conditions. An officer arrived at the scene and spoke with the caller, who showed the officer the damages sustained by both vehicles. The owner of the parked vehicle was notified but could not respond to the scene. The case is currently under investigation.
