Faculty, staff, students and alumni of Slippery Rock University participated in the Women’s March on Washington last Saturday. The Rock’s FMLA chartered a bus to the event, faculty and community members chartered their own and some students and alumni opted to drive themselves to the event. With attendance far over its expectations and cities all over the world participating in sister marches, the event ultimately went down in history as the largest protest in United States history.
