Aidan Treu

Aidan is a senior Strategic Communication and Media major with a concentration in multimedia journalism. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief following two years as the sports editor. He has also worked as a contributor to the Butler Eagle. This is eighth semester on The Rocket staff. In his free time, he enjoys watching and talking about sports, playing for the SRU club baseball team, and listening to music.

Augustus is a senior Strategic Communication & Media major with a concentration in Digital Media Production with a minor in Art. This is his first year serving as the Multimedia Editor for The Rocket. In his free time you can find Augustus spinning flags with SRU’s Colorguard or cuddling with his cat.

Paige Miller is a senior Professional and Creative Writing major with minors in Film and Strategic Communication. She is currently the copy/web editor serving her third semester on The Rocket. Outside of the office she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her friends.

Chloe Kemp is the assistant copy/web editor at the Rocket. She is a senior strategic communication and media major with concentrations in public relations and integrated marketing communication and a writing minor. When Chloe is not in the Rocket office, she enjoys rescuing worms off the sidewalk after it rains and making people laugh.

Eddie is a Senior 2 studying digital media production. From Columbiana, OH, he has been on staff since fall of 2022 and the Photo Editor since spring of 2023. He fell in love with photography his senior year of high school after suffering an injury and picking up a camera. He hopes to work for a professional sports team after he graduates.

Madi Greene is a junior Communications major with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism and minors in Leadership and Professional Writing. This is Madi’s second semester working for The Rocket as News Editor, and they remain excited for the stories ahead. Madi favors journalism for the interpersonal relationships it fosters among them, their fellow staff members, and the community. In their free time, Madi enjoys spending time with friends, engaging in the arts, and skateboarding.

Kayla Raynak is the Student Life editor for The Rocket. This is her third year on staff. She is a junior majoring in Communication with a concentration in Marketing and Advertising. She is also a member of AdFed, Arabic Club and Lambda Pi Eta. In her free time, she loves to listen to music, go to concerts, collect Littlest Pet Shops and hang out with her dog Paisley.

She currently serves as the sports editor, having previously served as assistant sports editor for two semesters. When she’s not in the office or reporting from the sidelines, she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
