Layla Joseph

Layla is a senior strategic communication and media major with a concentration in converged journalism. Layla occasionally contributed to The Rocket before becoming the assistant news editor in spring 2023. One of her main goals in her academic career at Slippery Rock has been to bridge a gap between the college and the community. When she is not in the classroom, she can usually be found working, spending time with her friends and taking her cat Jerry on walks outside.
