Guest Speakers
The SRSGA meeting featured guest speakers from the Equal Rights Amendment Advocates.
A representative described the group as “an action-based club focused on advancing gender equality,” noting that one of their upcoming initiatives is a donation drive for the Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh, scheduled for October 18–24.
The organization is currently collaborating with the political action committee Vote for Equality to encourage student participation in the Pennsylvania election on Nov. 4, which will determine the retention of Democratic Supreme Court Justices.
Future plans include a petition party in mid-November and an ERA awareness event during Women’s History Month. Additional details about meetings and events can be found on CORE.
