The Rocket

Victoria Davis, Copy/Web Editor
My name is Victoria Davis, and this year I'm returning to The Rocket as the 2016-2017 copy/web editor. Aside from The Rocket, I work at the Slippery Rock women's center, hold positions within a few SRU organizations and helped found SRSGA's Social Justice Committee. I applied to this position my sophomore year because it involves two of my favorite things: writing and social media. I applied just looking for an opportunity to do some of the things I love, but after a year spent with some of Slippery Rock's best journalists, I have found so much more.  My co-workers have taught me so much about journalism, media and communication, and thanks to them I have been able to grow my own skill set while creating content of which I am incredibly proud. I am so blessed to be returning to this staff and I'm looking forward to aggressively correcting grammar for the year to come.
