Erica Kurvach is a senior communication-journalism major at Slippery Rock University of PA and a news reporter for “The Rocket” since August 2012. Every week, she writes news stories and films videos for the paper and online edition. She is currently producing a weekly newscast called WSRU News with fellow WSRU-TV club members. After she graduates in May 2013, her career goal is to become a producer for a newscast in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.
