Boosahda named head lacrosse coach

Boosahda served as assistant coach of both the women's lacrosse and field hockey teams.
She will take over for Stacey Hart, who spent one season with the program.
Hart will still retain her duties as head coach of the field hockey program.
Boosahda, who was the head coach at Tri-State (Ind.) University and Nichols (Mass.)
College before coming to the Rock, will try to turn around the women's lacrosse program after its 0-15 season.
She brings three years of collegiate playing experience as well. Boosahda played goalie for Springfield (Mass.) College.
Boosahda was a two-year starter for Springfield and ended her career with 346 saves, which places her fourth on Springfield College's all-time saves list.
She also set a school record with an 8.17 goals against average in 2002.
Boosahda began her coaching career in 2004-05 as an assistant coach at Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, Mass.
She then became head coach at Nichols College in 2005-06 and moved to Tri-State to become head coach.
Boosahda was named Hart's assistant coach in August 2007.
