Other than SRU, the Liebermans have vans that travel to East Stroudsburg University, Lehigh University, Bloomsburg University, the Pennsylvania College of Technology at Williamsburg, Lock Haven University, Mansfield University, Penn State-Erie, Mercyhurst University, Edinboro University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Shippensburg University and Millersville University.
This semester they are also expanding to Cornell University, the University of Buffalo, the University of Rochester and Syracuse University in New York.
The Lieberman's Dynamic Bookstore started in 1993 when Marshall Lieberman's brother, Daniel, was attending WCU and was forced to purchase his own books after a bad semester of grades.
Appalled by the campus bookstore's prices and customer service, Daniel Lieberman decided to start a business for buying and selling books.
"He started a service where they could bring buyers and sellers together," Marshall Lieberman said.
The business expanded into what it is today when they decided to take their business into their own hands by buying books directly from students in order to help expand the business's inventory.
"The primary reason we went to other universities was because we needed more inventory," Marshall Lieberman said.
Before they went to other universities, the Liebermans had to depend on major book businesses for their supply of used books.
Marshall Lieberman said he and his family pride themselves on their ability to provide good customer service and competitive prices to students.
"We provide a valuable service to students and keep money in their pockets," Marshall Lieberman said. "We really try to be honest and get people to do what's in their best interest."
Marcus Odorizzi, a 19-year-old sophomore safety management major, has gone to the Lieberman van in town to sell his books and has been satisfied with his service.
"I went there last year when the bookstore wouldn't take back some of my books," Odorizzi said.
