View this section's front page!Pennsylvania legislators are currently considering a smoking ban that would place narrow restrictions on where smokers could light up. Though it's still being debated in Harrisburg, the State House of Representatives has approved a version of the bill that would permit smoking in only a few specified places, including homes and in tobacco shops that have been around for more than 10 years.
I think I would punch a bear in the face for Stephen Colbert. In my opinion, it's really great that the conservative Christian lobby now has a candidate they can count on. During the straw poll conducted at the Values Voters Summit, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee were the leaders of the pack in terms of sharing the values that conservative voters have.
It has been one year since I addressed the need for zombie evacuation plans and defensive fortifications on the Slippery Rock University campus. Apparently, everyone thought it was a joke, since I have not seen one bit of progress. President Smith ignored my concerns on the issue, which is fine, since he will be the one that will have to deal with the crisis.
