"Teams are going to be coming after us," Herlihy said. "Being the top team in the region and in the west, other teams are going to want to knock us off our game."
But Herlihy points to her team's lack of consistency as a focal point for the remainder of the season, hoping that it will all come together at the right time.
"It has taken us a little longer to find a consistency, but part of that is because we are young," Herlihy said. "But our first 11 are starting to get into a groove, and I hope that we are peaking at the right time.
"We just have some games where we play brilliantly on defense, but can't put the ball in the net. Then we have games where we are hot on offense but have too many defensive lapses."
The Rock will hope to find some of that consistency when it travels to Bloomsburg on Saturday for a PSAC crossover contest.
"Once we find that mix and that balance, we will be good," Herlihy said.
The Green and White is currently in the middle of a four-game road trip, the longest of the season, which will take them to Indiana (Pa.) on Oct. 10 before the team returns home to square off against Wheeling Jesuit on Oct 18.
