For the second game in a row, the Rock defense smothered the opposition.

Two weeks ago it was Millersville who fell victim to the Green and White sack attack, last Saturday Bowie State (0-3) was given a warm welcome in their first ever encounter with the Rock, a 35-7 blowout loss.

Their opponent this week, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern division leader Kutztown, comes into N. Kerr Thompson Stadium looking to knock the Rock off its perch.

"They (Kutztown) have some impressive talent and some individuals who can make some plays," 20-year Rock Head Coach George Mihalik said.

One of those players is wide-receiver Elfren Quiles, who is averaging 141 receiving yards per game, which it tied for second in all of Division II, to go along with his PSAC best 7.3 receptions per game.

The man throwing the ball to Quiles is Kyle Spotts, who is second in the PSAC in passing yards per game, with an average of 257.7. He has also throw eight touchdowns this season.

Another dangerous player of Kutztown's sideline is Ty Dinnis. Dinnis leads the PSAC in all-purpose yards, averaging more than 200 yards a game.

Last week against Shippensburg, Dinnis returned a kick-off 97 yards for a touchdown, but he can also run and catch the ball too, giving KU multiple options on offense.

"They have three kids who lead the conference in certain statistics," Mihalik said. "They can easily score on one play."

A major concern for Mihalik and his coaching staff heading into the game is the fact that SRU's defense has not been tested through the air this season.

"We haven't been tested through the air this year," Mihalik said. "Kutztown is going to be our first real test in the passing game. They are the best team we will have seen in '07."
