Cross country picture perfect at IUP Invitational

The Rock women's team also performed well at the IUP Invitational, finishing in second place behind the hosts.
SRU's Katie Bork won the individual title, with fellow junior and teammate Jaime Wright finishing in third place, 19 seconds behind Bork.
Bork's victory at the IUP Invitational was just the most recent success the junior has had this season. At the meet with Alaska-Anchorage on Sept. 1, she paced all Rock women, finishing in second.
Three freshmen ran with terrific times to help the Rock finish in second place.
Brittany Lyons, Rebecca Younger and Crystal Burnick finished ninth through 11th, respectively.
The women's team is currently ranked No. 20 in the country and will be boosted by the return of Leslie Kramer, who will be returning for the team's next meet, the Juniata Eagle Invitational, which will take place on Saturday.
The Rock men seek its first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference title since 1991 with a unit that features two-time All-America performer Jeff Weiss, seniors Matt Bluman and Chris Geddis, juniors Kevin Dustin and Pat Reagan and sophomore Brian Ulrich.
The Rock has three meets remaining to prepare for the PSAC Championships which will be held at Kutztown on Oct. 27.
