Students who count on caffeine to get through a busy day can now look to a local gourmet coffee shop to get their daily java buzz. Rumors Coffee House, which offers a variety of specialty coffees, is located on Main Street in Slippery Rock and is open for business on weekdays from 7 a.
Faculty and students participated in the first march in support of the Slippery Rock University APSCUF Solidarity Fund on Thursday during common hour, hoping to spread the word about the state of the negotiations concerning the faculty union's contract. "(The march) is to alert the university that contracts have not been settled," President of APSCUF Jace Condravy said.
