Surbaugh recorded 15 saves in the winning effort in net.

W&J recorded the first two goals of the game before the Rock fired back with six unanswered goals to tie the count at 2-2 after one period and take a 6-2 lead into halftime. W&J outscored the Rock by a 5-4 margin in the third period to shorten the lead to three, at 10-7, and each team scored one goal in the final stanza.

"I thought we did a great job," Choike said. "We started clicking at the end of this season, and our performance improved as the season went on."

The Rock will travel to the University of Michigan this weekend for three days to kick off the Western Division tournament.

"It is a great pool to play in and I am excited," Choike said. "We are hoping to place in third in the tournament."
