So far this season, SRU has been outscored 210-25 in their nine games that have all ended in blowout losses.
With the win, Bloomsburg is 3-5 overall, and 3-3 in the PSAC.
Frustration would be running high through most teams when experiencing such a lopsided season, but not the Rock, as junior Brooke Scholl said this week.
"We're staying pretty calm," Scholl said. "We're not getting frustrated. As bad as the score gets, we always keep our heads up and always finish as strong as we started."
Earlier in the week, the Rock dropped a non-conference game against Notre Dame of Ohio by the score of 22-3 on Tuesday at the N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
Only allowing 22 goals against the Falcons lowered the girl's goals against average from 23.43 down to 23.25.
Scoring the goals for the Rock were junior Krystal Handlovic, sophomore Caitlin O'Brien and Scholl.
Scholl's goal came as her third of the season while Handlovic registered her first goal of the season. O'Brien's goal tied her with a team-leading six points with freshman center-midfielder Ashley Henry.
Rock goalie Ashley Winkelspecht recorded 19 saves on Tuesday in the loss.
Last Saturday, Rock squared off against the second place team in the PSAC, Lock Haven, and lost by the score of 26-0.
The 26-0 shut out was the second time in two games the Rock was blanked. just another notch in its belt.
"We knew what we were walking into with Lock Haven," Scholl said. "We knew who they were and what they were capable of. We set a goal every game, and so far we have reached every bench mark."
