Rock places eighth in latest Dixon Trophy standings
As of March 14, West Chester leads the competition for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's Dixon Trophy, the award given out to the league's top overall athletic program. West Chester holds a 5.5 point lead over second-place Indiana of Pa. Lock Haven is just one point behind in third place at 114, with Shippensburg and East Stroudsburg rounding out the top five at 109.5 and 105.5 points, respectively. Bloomsburg and Edinboro are tied for sixth with 92 points, while Kutztown's 91 points is just a half-point ahead of Clarion and Slippery Rock. Rounding out the standings are California of Pa. (87 points), Millersville (76.5 points), Mansfield (44 points) and Cheyney (29.5 points).
