A safe, laptop computer and cash were reported missing Friday from the main office of the Pine Glenn Apartments complex, located at 278 Cameron Drive.

The broken back window where the burglar entered the office, as well as the missing items, was discovered by apartment complex manager Joe Durso around 6:30 a.m. Friday.

A flyer has been sent out detailing a $250 reward that is being offered for anyone with information about the person or persons involved in the burglary. If caught, the burglars will be arrested and convicted, according to the flyer.

"The police are following a few leads already," Durso said. "I fully expect that we're going to apprehend them."

No private information about residents at Pine Glenn was compromised. Computers and monitors sitting out were said to not have been tampered with.

Credit cards that were in the safe are now missing, but have been cancelled, Durso said.

To aid the investigation of this burglary, call the Pennsylvania State Police at 724-284-8100. The Pine Glenn Apartments complex is part of the Slippery Rock Apartments.
