I want to be real with you. A lot of people know I am a Christian but they do not know me. I don't have a problem with saying a lot of people actually don't know the God I write about either.

There is only one way to get to know someone, and that is by spending time with and talking to him or her. I would love to talk to you if you wanted to know me. God would also love to talk to if you wanted to know Him. Just like you would have to call me to meet me, you also have to call on God to know him, and He speaks through his Word. It is impossible to communicate with Him unless you believe that the Bible is the Holy Spirit inspired truth.

A lot of people assume I am religious, but I am not. Religion is a set of rules and traditions that put limits on your life.

I went to church my whole life before coming to college. You cannot know God through church. I was ignorant of the fact that I could have a beautiful relationship with God through His Word and prayer. I did not know about the Holy Spirit and that God's presence was better than anything this world can offer. I thought I was OK but I was not. I did not know that Jesus was able to set me free from my desires and sinful nature.

We are living in an evil time, where our culture is basically anti-God. Shows like South Park and The Daily Show make a mockery of God. Rappers, such as DMX, Puff Daddy and Kanye talk about pimping girls, partying and screwing dead corpses, then sing about how they love Jesus in the same song. Professors preach the lie of evolution and lead students away from God. Religious leaders and preachers on television preach false doctrine and are motivated by money.

The Bible is clear when it says Satan rules this world and that every person faces judgment. God will judge you. I cannot and refuse to. God is all about serving justice. He will bless your life in every way if you seek Him with your whole heart. Instead of living for things in this world you can be storing up eternal awards in Heaven.

I was ignorant of all these things until God gave me new life and corrected my worldview. I now see life through the eyes of God and know He is real. Even if you hate the words I write, I still have nothing but love for you. I know God has amazing plans for your life.
