News & Notes:
- In case you live under a rock and you didn't already know, The Grammy's were this past Wednesday. U2 were the big winners, walking away with a grand total of five awards including Album of the Year. Mariah Carey made her return to the award circle after being shut out for more than 15 years by walking home with three.
- Other news coming from the Grammy's includes Adam Lavine, lead singer of Maroon 5, putting an end to the rumors that he and Jessica Simpson are romantically involved. He told reporters that the two are "just friends".
- Finally from the Grammy's the after party life proved to live up to the hype. According to reports, many artists were turned away from such parties held by Mariah Carey and Kanye West due to the level of capacity.
- In non-Grammy news, G-Unit member Tony Yayo reportedly refuses to speak to police in concern with a shooting that took place on the set of a Busta Rhymes video that killed Israel Ramirez, a member of Rhymes' security staff. Though the police say that they need to speak to Yayo, he claims that he has nothing to say.
