Help me! I am so weak and cannot make it on my own! These problems are consuming me and I do not know what I am going to do if I fall one more time. I'm tired of life. But He said to me, My grace, favor, loving-kindness and mercy, are enough for you, sufficient against any danger. My strength and power are made perfect and show themselves most effective in your weakness.

Have you ever felt like that precious lady in the commercial from the early 90's? I'm sure she felt helpless, screaming, "Help, I've fallen and can't get up!" Do you ever find yourself in that lady's position, feeling that you have fallen and can't get back up? It's perfectly normal to feel weak, depressed, or discouraged. It's OK to fall down. Let me tell you why:

God thinks you are precious just like that little, old lady! He wants to help you if you are willing to cry out to Him. God is so wonderful and does not want you to fall in the first place. God can remove things tripping you up in life if you are willing to give Him your whole heart. God burns with a jealous love for you and Psalm 55:2 says cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you and never let you fall.

Did you ever wonder if God cares about your pain and heartbreaks or when you feel lonely and depressed? Does He care when you fall? Psalm 56:8 says God keeps track of your sorrows and has collected every one of your tears in His bottle.

We all face disappointments in life. Sometimes things just seem to pile up and get beyond our control. Our minds are bombarded with streams of nagging thoughts, theories, worries, suspicions, doubts, fears, and wonderings. You have to look up and not to yourself for answers. I know how weak I am and how deceitful my heart is. It is so awesome put your trust in a higher source, the God of the Universe and not yourself. If you do, the bible says that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
