'80s fashion still relevant years later

I never thought that I could say anything good about the fashions of the 1980s. Crimped hair, high-tops and side ponytails are all things I would like to permanently wipe from my memory.
But when I realized I could relive my childhood by sporting a black "She-Ra" baby tee or a sparkly "My Little Pony" shirt, I was truly convinced that the great things of the '80s could indeed be reborn. It's not often that I promote a Web site, but this totally awesome site is truly unique to the fashion world.
I'm sure that everyone of our generation is guilty of having favorite movies, cartoons and actors from the 1980s, so NO, you cannot judge me for liking "She-Ra" when I was a kid.
I mean come on. Who doesn't love mullets? Who didn't love Chilly Willy? Who didn't want to attend Bayside High? And how many of us watched "The Simpsons" growing up and can still turn to them in 2005 for a good laugh?
The Web site I am referring to is 80stees.com, a site dedicated to the sale of '80s memorabilia and clothing. They sell a variety of T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and other cool things dedicated to our favorite characters, products, comics and video games growing up.
Now what's so great about a T-shirt with a cartoon character on it, you might ask?
Well, any opportunity I have to revel in my youth, and forget the fact that I am about to enter the "real world" once I graduate next month, is definitely a thing I want to experience. Sure, I may be particular with my fashion advice at times, but any opportunity to just have fun with what you wear is a definite fashion 'do.'
Okay, let's get to it. For the girls, "CareBears," "My Little Pony" and "Rainbow Brite" top off the '80s cartoon tees. But if a cutesy tee isn't in your tastes, I suggest you veer from the cartoon category, ladies, as there's not much there that doesn't include glitter or pastel colors.
Now let's not forget about the great movies of the '80s. I mean, what young girl didn't love Jake Ryan from "Sixteen Candles" and wouldn't want to revive their first Hollywood crush today? Well, if you do want to relive that childhood crush, the site has a shirt dedicated to Molly Ringwald's sweet sixteen sweetheart.
