Court Cases

Oct. 21 - Kyle Henry Slaughter, 23, Pittsburgh, was seen for statutory sexual assault, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of indecent assault and harassment. Bail set at $20,000.
Oct. 21 - Richard Clair Urey, 24, Slippery Rock, Pa., was seen for DUI, disregarding single traffic lane, failing to use safety belt system and moving vehicle without reasonable safety and/or appropriate signal. He was released on a $3,000 bail.
Oct. 25 - Timothy Robert Wissinger, 23, Renfrew, Pa., was seen for DUI, failing to obey stop signs and yield signs, general impairment and incapable of driving safely. He was released on his own recognizance.
Oct. 25 - Jerry Lee Uber, 41, Harrisville, Pa., was seen for DUI, careless driving, failing to keep right, disregarding single traffic lane and restrictions on alcoholic beverages. He was released on his own recognizance.
Oct. 25 - Seth Daniel Nicholson, 20, Leisenring, Pa., was seen for DUI, careless driving, disregarding single traffic lane, purchasing, consuming, possessing or transporting of liquor, malt or brewed beverage as a minor and minor prohibited from operating with any alcohol in system. He was released on his own recognizance.
Oct. 25 - Jeffrey G. Blymiller Jr., 24, Butler, Pa., was seen for DUI, careless driving and driving an unregistered vehicle. He was released on his own recognizance.
Oct. 25 - Caleb A. Harper, 18, Pittsburgh, was seen for escape, resisting arrest, false identification to law enforcement, purchasing, consuming, possessing or transporting of liquor, malt or brewed beverages, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. He was released on his own recognizance.
Oct. 25 - William Gary Minto Jr., 22, Lyndora, Pa., was seen for driving under the influence of a drug or combination of drugs, possessing a small amount of marijuana, possessing with intent to use drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of a controlled substance. He was released on his own recognizance.
Nov. 1 - Christopher Shayne Bowser, 19, Slippery Rock, Pa., was seen for theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, theft from a motor vehicle and criminal mischief. He was released on his own recognizance.
Nov. 1 - Stephen James Kurz, 25, Butler, Pa., was seen for DUI, moving vehicle without reasonable safety and/or appropriate signal and failing to keep right. He was released on his own recognizance.
Nov. 1 - Sarah Marie Backus, 19, Slippery Rock, Pa., was seen for DUI, careless driving, no rear lights and minor prohibited from operating with any alcohol in system. She was released on her own recognizance.
Nov. 1 - Eric M. Challburg, 18, Pittsburgh, was seen for theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He was released on his own recognizance.

Oct. 20 - Police are continuing to investigate a report of items stolen from a purse in a resident's room in Kraus Hall.
Oct. 20 - Luke Miller, 19 and Jacqueline Fryer, 20, were cited for underage consumption of alcohol after police received a report of an alcohol violation in Bard Hall.
Oct. 20 - Police are continuing to investigate a report of someone breaking a window in Harner Hall from outside.
Oct. 21 - Kyle Slaughter, 23, was cited for sexual assault after a person(s) reported that they were sexually assaulted by a known person that had been visiting Dodds Hall.
Oct. 21 - Jill Jones, 19, was cited for theft of services after police found a commuter parking permit being used by a resident in the University Union Commuter Lot.
Oct. 21 - Ashlee McLaren, 21, was cited for theft of services after police found a commuter parking permit being used by a resident in the Alumni Lot.
