To many, the 1980's was a decade of music that was either brilliant or disgusting. Though they didn't really fit in to any of the sub-genres the 80's gave us, Kings X released their first record in 1988 and have since been prominent players on the prog rock/funk/pop/hair-metal scene. This Saturday they will be at the Rex in Pittsburgh, and though many of you may have never heard of them, or care to hear of them, I suggest you go see the band that has influenced a lot of the music you probably listen to today.
