Kyle S. McFeely, 22, of Grove City, was taken to United Community Hospital and pronounced dead at 9:24 p.m., state police in Mercer said.

Although the cause of death was not necessarily suspicious, an autopsy was performed by Mercer County Coroner J. Bradley McGonigle III on Sunday. The cause of death has not yet been released.

One passenger in the other vehicle, Keath Sherbondy, 26, of Grove City, suffered minor injuries.

The other vehicle was driven by Christopher A. Matarrese, 26, of New Hope. The other passenger in the vehicle was SRU graduate Anthony Errera, 26, of Grove City. Neither were injured in the crash.

According to police, the accident occurred when Matarrese drove through a stop sign on Airport Road, colliding with McFeely who was driving south along Route 173.

An investigation is being conducted and charges are pending.
