Religion brings true joy to life

To the Editor:
My heart goes out to people so misled and utterly mistaken who wrote to set us all straight that there is no God. They, of course, may believe anything they want to, but unfortunately they are wrong and missing out on something so precious. You can ignore and deny the presence of God, but that won't make God go away. It's easy to deny God's presence when one doesn't want to be accountable for one's actions. But, what is lost by doing that? Turning away from ourselves and getting to know the awesome living God gives us a real purpose for this life! The alternative is the message from below: you are here by accident, you have no purpose, this is all there is, you have no future, no hope, and then you die. I know better. I have found the true joy that can only come from one source! Check in with any Christian around you to hear more. Just look around - they're the ones who are really happy!
