Love. What an amazing and powerful word. I was inspired to write this article after reading Mike Goodwin's letter to the editor in reference to me. When he stated, "I hate faith and zealots who preach it," amazing things were going on inside me. I had an amazing peace when reading his comments. His words did not affect me. Things that used to consume me in my past cannot touch me with the armor of God in action. God has brought me so far. I did not have temptation to react with any form of revenge. 1 John 4:12 says no one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete. I simply prayed that Mike would come to know the love of God. What an awesome feeling, not have any negative feelings or emotions robbing my joy! A personal revelation of God's love is necessary for having faith in Jesus Christ. I am not wise in my own words, but the Spirit of God inspires my message. I do not use my own wisdom when writing, but ask my Father, (as Jesus asked His Father) for words. I want to excite your spirit. Are you are willing to make the best decision of your life and accept God's love? Do you want to experience the immeasurable amount of love that Christ has made available and can be found in Ephesians 3:17-19?

You cannot take the word love at face value. The conceptual and abstract meanings of love are deeper than our human minds can comprehend. I did not understand what true love was in my past and I looked in the wrong places for it. I think it is easy for us to fall in the trap of believing we know everything about concepts such as love. In reality we do not. We have inherited a characteristic of pride about us. We named ourselves Homo sapiens, meaning wise beings. Are we really that wise? Since God has changed my life, I think upon the wisdom of this world and realize how silly it is. People look to Oprah and Dr. Phil for advice on how to raise their kids. People try every diet imaginable and do not realize what they are doing to themselves. People watch reality shows and get trapped into believing that they are reality. People are trying to figure out what is going on in the world and are looking to the world for answers to life. The problem is we need to redirect our focus on God, and look to Him for answers. We need to stop living for ourselves and become motivated by eternal rewards. Have you noticed that everything going on around us is getting more extreme? The world is closing upon a pinnacle of being either for or against God. You must realize that everything going on in the world is not by chance. It is a direct result of our own actions.
