Bigger is better for fall accessories

Accessorizing an outfit is one of the most important things to consider when looking to get the perfect autumn look. In the past two weeks, I have talked about the hot new styles for handbags and shoes. However, there is an accessory that I feel is even more important than a pair of perfect pumps or a hefty handbag, and that's jewelry.
Though I am somewhat disappointed in the decrease in size and flair that occurred in this fall's fashion jewelry, I have to admit that this year, jewelry is more luxurious than ever.
Though popular in the past, ethnic style jewels have exploded in popularity. Check out your mom's old jewelry box for a fun broach, and you may be surprised with what you find. The more sparkly and the more funky, the better.
Trust me, with the price of a quality broach being what it is, I am sure you'll be quite happy to check out your ma's vintage selection. I know it may seem unusual for a college-aged woman to slap on a big broach, but nothing is hipper this autumn.
I have never been successful with pierced ears and it has always been annoying. But I have never been so annoyed to not have pierced ears than I am now. Earrings this year, are in a word just...fun. Ethnic stones and new shapes make these danglers fit for any face. But if they don't drop to about chin length, they don't top the list.
Also, classic looks are in. So if you're thinking the more earring holes the better, you couldn't be more wrong. One hole is all you need to maintain a clean and classy look these days. So if you're past your wild and adventurous stage, you might want to consider pulling out a few pairs.
What's going on in the bracelet world? Well, more flashy and ethnic stones, to be blunt (surprise, surprise). While the classic tennis bracelet will never die, it's not the way to spruce up a dull outfit. Jewels alone can turn a dank outfit into a swank outfit, but for bracelets the "too many rule," doesn't really apply here. Unless you're planning to go with an extravagant stone bracelet, like some of the amazing ones designed by Arden B, feel free to just pack em' on.
