Hepner's ticket, called "The Golden Ticket," consists of Richard Graham for vice president of student life, Preston Gibbs for vice president of finance, Jenny Craig for vice president of administration, Kurt Sterling for vice president of academic affairs and Amie Homa for vice president of advancement.
According to the party's flier, a few of the platforms the group hopes to accomplish include enhancing the Kiester Road entrance to the university, extending the bookstore's hours and conducting more open forums focusing on student-related issues.
Another platform goal is to ensure better academic advisement by possibly having a night each week when students can meet with an advisor from their department, Sterling said.
"It's often tough for students to find time to meet with their advisors because of classes and scheduling conflicts," Sterling said. "We hope to get rid of that."
Other platforms mentioned on the flier include reviewing parking allocations and ticket distribution, rerouting the Happy Bus loop, constructing "Hangout Huts" around campus, and having SGA Happy Hour, a time for Senators and Executive Board members to do office hours in the evening to better serve the students' time constraints.
Although campaigning technically began on Monday, Hepner's party has not yet done much, with the exception of handing out a few flyers.
"In the next few days we'll be handing out more fliers, putting signs up, chalking the sidewalks and all that stuff," Sterling said. "Campaigning has been much more lenient this year."
Hepner and company will be running alone this year, as they are the only party running for control of SGA.
"It's really strange that there is only one ticket, seeing as how engaged our student body is," Sterling said. "I personally wish there was another ticket running. It makes for a better campaigning experience and overall, it makes more of an impact on the university."
The rest of Hepner's ticket is as follows:
Kenny Benjamin for Bard Hall senator, Rachel Rable for Dodds Hall senator, Vinette Kester for Founders Hall senator, Jocelyn Moss for North Hall senator, Tiffany Perry for Rhoads Hall senator, Jesse Lindberg for Rock Apartments senator, Dave Thompson and Tom Pitzer for Pine Glen senators, Danielle Fillmore, Rachel Lhota, Ashley Clark, Mark Kratz, Mike Baranowski, Matt Merulli, Emily Burchfield, Kim Adams and Chris Spudic for commuter senators, and Sue Davis for graduate senator.
Polling stations will be at the University Union and Weisenfluh Dining Hall on April 5 and 6.
The Union polling station will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, and the Weisenfluh station will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. both days.
