Get up close,personal with the band

The Aebersold Recreation Center, which is usually accustomed to the daily bump of basketballs, was bouncing with the beats of alternative/hip-hop band, the Gym Class Heroes on Sunday, Nov. 23. Over 300 tickets were sold for the concert that was organized by the University Program Board as the fall semester's major concert.

Fleet Foxes builds foundation with first album release

Fleet Foxes is a five-piece band from Seattle, Wash. The band has been working to create vocally arousing songs since the release of their 2006 self-titled Extended Play. After two years, they followed that EP with a second called, "Sun Giant." This release was nothing but a taste of what was to come.

Transporter 3 saves film series with fun action

"Transporter 3" is an insane adrenaline rush, a ridiculously fun action film with amazing and impossible stunts that establishes itself as one of the better action franchises out today. The whole "Transporter" franchise was riding on this film. After "Transporter 2" was released, I didn't have much hope for the franchise.
